DHL approached us about creating a program for a business party at SaSaZu club in Prague . We browsed our portfolio of shows and accompanying program together and decided which shows were the best fit for the event.

We settled on three performances during the evening - a light show, an acrobatic show and a fire show.

If you need a themed show for your event , we don't always have to create a completely new show. Even shows from our regular lineup can be customized to fit the type of event. Here we have arranged for bespoke adaptations to fit in with the James Bond theme.

As an accompanying program we chose the elegant mirror walking act.

Adjusting the length of the show, costumes and music

Fire and light shows have a standard length of 7-10 min. The client needed the length to match the amount of time allocated for the performances in the program - 5 minutes for each show. We were happy to accommodate him.

So the first task was to shorten the show without compromising the effect. This means concentrating the maximum experience into half the time.

The second challenge was to create a fire show based on the theme of the event. We took our Rock Fire Show as the basis. We dressed up the rockers from leather and chains to secret agent costumes.

We complemented the whole show with projections and an acting scene created especially for the show to music from the film.

We dressed the acrobats in themed costumes as well and used the James Bond music for their show.

The preparations are done, time to go on stage!

We'll be heading straight amongst the gorgeously dressed guests in suits and evening gowns. Although the party was casual, the guests took the Bond dress code seriously. The gentlemen were dressed like agents, the ladies in long dresses looked like they stepped right out of Casino Royale.

We couldn't wait to show them the program we had prepared for the event.

Mirror couple

At the beginning of the evening, the mirror couple greeted guests on the red carpet at the entrance to the club.

Then they were given another important task: to walk the star of the evening, singer Shirley Bassey, on stage. She recorded three theme songs for the James Bond films, including the iconic classics Goldfinger and Diamonds Are Forever.

She began her performance on a sofa at the other side of the hall instead of on stage. The mirror couple was waiting for her by the sofa. The mirror gentleman offered the famous singer an escort and together they walked through the hall to the stage. The mirror lady was by her other side, shining like a jewel.

The mirror couple perfectly visually complemented the singer's glittering gown. It was a unique experience for us.

A light show with interactive projections

A large LED screen dominated the stage at the club. We used the screen for both the light and fire show and created customized projections.

The first performance of the evening was a light show. We complemented it with interactive projections, which added to the overall impression. The performers controlled the movement of the light and effects on the screen by moving the equipment.

The premiere of the interactive projections in this show was a hit and the guests were thrilled.

Graceful partner acrobatics

When the acrobatic pair came on stage, the audience fell silent. They waited impatiently to see what was going to happen. The acrobat was dressed in a shirt and black trousers, his lady in an elegant black dress.

When the well-known hit Skyfall began to play, the performers showed their intricate choreography of partner acrobatics full of challenging moves. The audience cheered the couple in every trick. At the end, the acrobats received great applause.

The Fire Agents

The final performance of the evening was a fire show. The performers took on the roles of an agent and his Bond girls. In costumes tailor-made for the event, they performed energetic choreography. The show included effects like fire cube, flamethrowers and a pyrotechnic finale.

The fire show was accompanied by footage from the James Bond films. While the performers filled the stage with fire, the LED screen transported them into the atmosphere of the action scenes of Agent 007.

We also included a themed surprise in the show. Halfway through the show, the music changed and the soundtrack from the movie started playing. The performers interspersed the fire show with acting interactions between the secret agent and the Bond girls.
